Happy New Year!

Last quarter activities for the EO:

• Fall Meeting during the MACD Convention
• EO Board meetings, October 18 and December 22
• Event at MACD Convention
• At least 3 onboarding visits to new employees in their areas by Area Directors
• Two Roundtables
  • Hiring issues for CDs (October)
  • CD Basics (December)

First quarter of 2024 activities:

• Elections for Treasurer and Secretary positions
• Contracting with a bookkeeper for the organization
• Submission of 1023 form to IRS for nonprofit status for the organization
• Roundtables(10 am on zoom)
  • January 17-Supervisor Elections from the Employee Perspective
  • February 21-Workplace Mental Health
  • March 20-District Planning & Succession Planning
• EO Board meetings follow the CD Roundtables
• Meeting with Terry Profota to move forward on policy creation and other structure for the EO
